Welcome to the Anatomy and Physiology Home Page!

In this course, we will be exploring both the structure and function of the human body and its coordinated systems. How does the human body work to maintain good health? How do cells, tissues, and organs work together to maintain homeostasis? The goal of this course is to develop critical thinking and analytical skills to increase your appreciation and understanding of this incredible machine that we each live in. This goal will be achieved through a variety of class activities, lab experiences, dissections, individual and group assignments, and in-class presentations.

Anatomy is rigorous elective designed for those who have completed the core science courses- IPS, Biology, and Chemistry. It is terminology intensive; be prepared to invest time and effort along the way to study and review critical concepts. You can find resources to assist your study throughout this website.
